  16. This is finally the full release of AKIconz 4.
  17.  
  18. And this will most probably be the LAST release of AKIconz in
  19. this fashion as well. Maybe I'll still find the one or the other
  20. icon on my HD here and there, but there won't be any new icons
  21. anymore!

  23. Well, I wanted the collection to become bigger, but due to the
  24. lack of feedback and further interest in continuing the collection
  25. it sadly didn't.   :-(

  27. Another reason is that I discovered the beauty of more colorful
  28. icons (yes, finally even me!).
  29. No, no! No NewIcons or GlowIcons - they're still MWB, but with
  30. some more colours added. What I'm talking about are the icons
  31. found in the BNSMWBicons 1-8 packages (Aminet: pix/mwb) with their
  32. 16 or even 32 colours (and the appropriate backdrops as well!).

  34. OK, compared to 256 for GlowIcons this is still quite little but
  35. you cannot expect wonders without a GFX card, so 32 colours are
  36. the best compromise between colours and speed on a DblPAL HiRes
  37. flickerfree screen (at least with FBlit installed).

  50. Here you get again a bunch of icons for the good old standard
  51. MagicWB. Mostly game (drawer-) icons as always.
  52. There is not that much new since the last work-in-progress release,
  53. but as I said: lack of motivation (I didn't get more than about
  54. 6 or 7 mails in total for all my collections!) ... :-/

  56. So I hope you finally find something you need and/or like again.

  58. Maybe I'll be back with a 32 col. icons (games?) collection at some
  59. time (AKIconzTNG or whatever), but that's all still up in the air ...
